Inside Sales Representative - Medical Devices (Hybrid/Remote)

Job Summary:

The Inside Sales Representative will be accountable for achieving monthly sales targets by working closely with patients, helping them obtain our phototherapy medical devices which have been prescribed by physicians. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have excellent communication and listening skills, and display a natural sense of compassion for our customers.

This role involves no-cold calling or prospecting and is well supported by an team of dedicated insurance specialists and customer service representatives. This role will rely heavily on outbound sales, and will require no travel.

Candidates may have the opportunity to work in a hybrid or remote setting after completing a probationary period on-site at our Beachwood HQ.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct outbound calls to patients who have been prescribed National Biological phototherapy devices, and/or their prescribing physicians, educating them on the features and benefits of our products
• Obtain and accurately document all necessary information from patients, enabling our internal insurance team to conduct insurance benefits checks and file insurance claims on their behalf
• Clearly and concisely convey information on extent of insurance coverage to set expectations of their financial commitments
• Assist the patient to explain and complete all necessary paperwork to finalize the sale process
• Educate customers on basic device operation to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
• Provide post-sales support to address questions including order status and basic device operation
• In coordination with our accounting team, support collections on delinquent accounts as needed

Requirements:

• Preferred: experience in outbound sales calls
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience in customer-facing roles
• Solid computer skills, and comfortable with learning new software systems
• Fastidious attention to detail and highly organized
• Strong ability to multitask and work both independently and in a team environment
• Ability to display integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times
